Steps
1
Dig an 8 by 5 outline of cobblestone below the grass
Dig 1 block down first in the middle of your space. Only the edge gets cobblestone for now.
2
Fill the middle with 18 stone in a 6 by 3 rectangle
This fills the hole inside the cobblestone outline. Now your floor is flat and ready.
3
Place 24 spruce fence around the house, 2 layers high
They go around the outside in a 10 by 7 area. They make a frame around the bottom floor.
4
Build 24 cobblestone walls 2 layers high
The walls go inside an 8 by 5 area. Leave gaps for the door and windows. Put the 2 ladders in a column to climb up later.
5
Add 9 cobblestone stairs and 4 oak log posts
Stand each log up 2 blocks tall like a post. The stairs add trim along the walls.
6
Build layer 3 with 12 cobblestone, 1 stair, and 1 ladder
Place the cobblestone stair upside down. Keep the ladder going up in the same spot as before.
7
Add 8 spruce fence and 4 oak logs at the corners
The logs go at the 4 corners of the 10 by 7 area. The fence fills in between them.
8
Lay 39 spruce planks for the upstairs floor
Fill the 8 by 5 area. Leave a spot for 1 ladder so you can climb up through the floor.
9
Place 26 upside down spruce stairs around the edge
They make an outline of a 10 by 7 rectangle with 4 gaps. Put the 4 oak logs in the corners.
10
Build oak plank walls 3 blocks high on the right side
Use 24 oak planks in 8 columns. Add the 4 oak stairs and flip 1 of them upside down.
11
Add 8 spruce fence posts, each 2 blocks tall
These go on layers 6 and 7. They make a railing around the balcony.
12
Stand 4 oak log posts and add 11 spruce fence gates
Each log post is 3 blocks tall. The gates go in a 4 by 7 area and work like a railing you can open.
13
Build a 5 by 5 oak log outline and 8 cobblestone walls
This goes from layer 5 up to layer 8. The 16 logs frame the upstairs room.
14
Add 10 cobblestone stairs and 8 stripped oak logs
Place all the stairs upside down on the right side. This is the frame for the top of the house.
15
Put 9 glass panes and 1 oak door on the bottom floor
Fill the window gaps you left in the walls. The door takes 2 blocks of space.
16
Add 15 glass panes and 1 oak door upstairs
The door leads out to the balcony. Place the panes in the window holes in the walls.
17
Lay 21 campfires in a 3 by 7 rectangle for the deck roof
This goes on the left side over the balcony. It makes a shady top for your deck.
18
Place 14 cobblestone stairs for the bottom of the roof
Put them on the right side. Face the stairs so they step up toward the middle of the roof.
19
Add 20 spruce stairs to fill in the roof
These go on layers 9 and 10, in between the cobblestone edges.
20
Top the roof with 8 cobblestone stairs and 7 slabs
Put the 7 cobblestone slabs in a straight row along the very top of the roof.
21
Put the red bed in the front right corner upstairs
The bed takes 2 blocks. This corner is your bedroom.
22
Place a crafting table, furnace, blast furnace, and smoker
Put them on the bottom floor. This is your kitchen and work spot.
23
Add a crafting table upstairs at the front
Put it on layer 5 inside the room. Now you can craft on both floors.
24
Place 3 chests and 1 barrel on the back wall
They go in a flat wall 4 wide and 2 tall on the bottom floor. This is your storage spot.
25
Add 6 chests and 2 barrels upstairs
Put them on layer 5 inside the room. Line up the 2 barrels along a 5 block line.
26
Set a potted poppy and a potted oxeye daisy downstairs
Put them on top of something on layer 2. They add a pop of color inside.
27
Lay 2 red carpet in a row upstairs
Put them on the right side of the room on layer 5. They make a cozy rug.
28
Hang 10 lanterns around the bottom floor
Place them on layers 2 and 3. Lights help keep mobs away at night.
29
Hang 7 lanterns around the upstairs
Place them on layers 6 and 7 so the top floor and balcony glow at night.
30
Add 11 oak leaves as bushes
Place them from layer 1 up to layer 5. Put some by the walls and some up by the balcony.
31
Fill the flower boxes with 9 grass blocks and flowers
Put them on the right side. Plant 2 blue orchids, 1 allium, and 1 oxeye daisy on top.
32
Plant the last flowers in the flower boxes
Use a lily of the valley, a dandelion, a red tulip, a cornflower, and an azure bluet on layer 6.
33
Add 9 spruce trapdoors around the flower boxes
Put them on the right side on layer 5. They make the sides of the boxes look neat.
