Have you ever lost a valuable enchanted tool because you didn't notice its durability was almost gone?

No Tool Waste helps prevent that. When a compatible enchanted item reaches its final durability point, the addon stops supported actions that could destroy it. The item stays at 1 durability, giving you time to repair it yourself.

Important: This addon does not repair tools or give them infinite durability. Unenchanted items still break normally.

🛡️ How Protection Works

The addon checks the tool in your hand. Protection activates if it:

1. Has a durability component.
2. Has one or more enchantments.
3. Is not an excluded equipment type (such as armor or Elytra).
4. Has 1 durability remaining.

When protected, mining and other supported actions are blocked. The item does not regain durability, so you still need to repair it with an Anvil, Mending or another normal method.

🎮 Demonstrations

These demonstrations may show an earlier version of the warning UI; the current version uses a two-line actionbar message.

🧩 Compatibility

• Minecraft Bedrock 26.10+ is required by the updated Behavior Pack.
• Uses the stable Minecraft Script API declared in the pack (@minecraft/server 2.6.0).
• Built without vanilla player.json overrides.
• Achievements compatibility also depends on world settings and other installed packs.
• Compatible custom items must provide the expected durability/enchantment components; not every third-party item can be guaranteed.

📦 Installation

1. Import the .mcaddon into Minecraft Bedrock.
2. Activate its Behavior Pack and Resource Pack in your world.
3. Use an enchanted, durable tool normally. No command or setup item is required.

📝 What's New - v1.0.1

• Added a temporary enchantment backup/suppression system for protected tools, with restoration when unequipped.
• Improved handling of Fire Aspect and other on-hit enchantment effects while a tool is protected (in-game confirmation pending).
• Split the protection warning into two actionbar lines, with English and Spanish translations.
• Kept the item-specific safeguards introduced in earlier updates.
