Steps

1. 1Lay 44 spruce slabs and 2 stripped spruce logs for the left dockDig 1 block down first in the front left corner. Put every slab in the top half of the block so the dock sits high.
2. 2Lay 43 spruce slabs and 2 stripped spruce logs for the right dockDig 1 block down first in the front right corner. Put the slabs in the top half of the block, just like the left dock.
3. 3Place 26 spruce planks for the back floorDig 1 block down first. These planks fill a 5 by 6 area at the back.
4. 4Place 26 more spruce planks in the back right cornerDig 1 block down first. This part of the floor fits in a 6 by 6 area.
5. 5Lay 32 stone bricks along the backDig 1 block down first. This stone makes a strong base under the walls.
6. 6Build layer 1 with 21 stone bricks and 5 spruce logsStart in the back left corner. The spruce logs stand at the corners like posts.
7. 7Add 23 stone bricks and 4 stone brick walls in the middleKeep going on layer 1. Leave gaps where the doors will go.
8. 8Put 17 spruce fences around the house on layer 1Add 4 stripped spruce logs as posts and 2 oak stairs flipped upside down. The fence makes rails for the docks.
9. 9Place 8 spruce stairs and 5 spruce slabs at the backFlip 6 of the stairs upside down. Put the slabs in the top half of the block.
10. 10Build layer 2 with 36 stone bricks at the backAdd 3 spruce logs for posts and a row of 2 spruce stairs. Leave gaps for doors and windows.
11. 11Add 4 spruce planks in a 2 by 2 square in the middleThen place 2 stone brick walls, 2 spruce fences and 2 stripped spruce logs on layer 2.
12. 12Build layer 3 with 30 stone bricks at the backAdd 3 stone brick walls and 3 spruce fence gates. The gates look like little railings.
13. 13Place 4 spruce stairs and 2 stone brick stairs in the middleFlip 4 of the stairs upside down. Then add 2 spruce fences.
14. 14Add 2 stripped spruce logs and 2 spruce stairs in the middleThese go on layer 3 and layer 4. Put 1 spruce log there too.
15. 15Lay 35 spruce slabs at the back for the upstairs floorPut all the slabs in the top half of the block. This is the floor for the second story.
16. 16Lay 37 spruce slabs on the right sidePut 31 in the top half of the block. For 4 spots, stack 2 slabs in one spot to make a full block.
17. 17Place 34 stripped spruce logs as a beam around the middleAdd 4 spruce fence gates and 2 stone bricks. This ring of logs holds up the second floor.
18. 18Stack 24 spruce planks 2 high for the upstairs wallsAdd 2 stone brick walls and 2 oak stairs flipped upside down. Leave gaps for windows.
19. 19Stack 20 stripped spruce logs 2 high at the backThese are the posts for the upstairs. Add 3 spruce fence gates and 1 smooth quartz stairs.
20. 20Add 28 spruce planks and 11 spruce fences up topThese go from layer 5 to layer 8. The fences make the rails on the balcony.
21. 21Place 20 dark oak stairs upside down under the roof edgePut them on layer 7 and layer 8. Upside down stairs make a nice trim line.
22. 22Place 12 spruce stairs and 2 spruce slabs on layer 7Flip 10 of the stairs upside down. Put the slabs in the top half of the block.
23. 23Add 10 stripped spruce logs, 8 dark oak stairs and 8 spruce planksThese go from layer 7 to layer 9 to close the top of the walls. Flip all 8 stairs upside down.
24. 24Add 6 glass panes and 2 spruce doors downstairsEach door takes 2 blocks of space. Put the panes in the window gaps you left.
25. 25Fill 13 glass panes into the upper windowsThey go from layer 3 to layer 5 in the back right corner.
26. 26Add 7 glass panes and 3 spruce doors upstairsEach door takes 2 blocks of space. The doors lead out to the balcony.
27. 27Place 5 spruce slabs in an outline on layer 4Make the outline of a 3 by 2 rectangle with the slabs in the top half. Add 2 stone brick walls.
28. 28Add 8 spruce fence gates on the right sideAlso place 2 oak stairs, 2 stripped spruce logs and 1 oak fence. This builds the open deck.
29. 29Place 20 dark oak stairs for the roof edgePut them on layer 7 and layer 8. Add 1 spruce slab to fill a small gap.
30. 30Lay 20 spruce stairs for the first roof rowFace them so the roof slopes down. Put 4 dark oak slabs at the corners and add 4 dark oak planks.
31. 31Add 28 spruce stairs and 8 dark oak stairs on layer 9Each row moves in toward the middle. The dark oak stairs go on the edges as trim.
32. 32Finish the roof with 36 spruce stairs and 8 dark oak stairsThis is layer 10, the very top. Make sure both sides meet in the middle.
33. 33Put the red bed in the upstairs bedroomIt takes 2 blocks of space. Place it on layer 5 in the back right corner.
34. 34Place 2 crafting tables, a blast furnace and a smokerThis is the work area downstairs at the back. Put them on layer 1.
35. 35Add an enchanting table, a furnace and a grindstoneThese go downstairs at the back near the other work blocks.
36. 36Set up a smithing table, cauldron, crafting table and brewing standThese go upstairs in the back right corner. It makes a handy work room.
37. 37Put 2 chests and a barrel on the right sidePlace the 2 chests in a straight row on layer 1 for storage.
38. 38Place 4 chests and an ender chest upstairsPut the chests at the 4 corners of a 4 by 6 area on layer 5.
39. 39Add 8 potted dead bushes insideSpread them around on layer 1 at the back. They make the rooms feel cozy.
40. 40Place 6 bookshelves and 4 red carpets downstairsLay the carpet in a straight row of 4. It makes a nice reading spot.
41. 41Add 8 spruce trapdoors, 3 bookshelves and a potted spruce saplingThese go on layer 2 in the back right corner. Trapdoors make good shelves and trim.
42. 42Place a potted red tulip, dandelion and azure bluetSet them on layer 2 at the back to add color to the room.
43. 43Add 8 spruce trapdoors and 2 amethyst clustersPut them in the back right corner. Add a potted blue orchid, cornflower and lily of the valley.
44. 44Place 10 spruce trapdoors, 4 red carpets and 2 spruce signsThese go on layer 4 and layer 5 in the back right corner. The carpet makes a soft rug.
45. 45Add 10 spruce trapdoors and potted flowers up highThese go from layer 6 to layer 8. Add a potted oxeye daisy, poppy and lily of the valley.
46. 46Hang 11 lanterns inside the houseSpread them from layer 2 to layer 5 so no room is dark.
47. 47Add 5 lanterns on layer 6These light up the top rooms at the back.
48. 48Pour 25 water buckets for the left pondDig 1 block down first in the front left corner. The water goes under and around the dock.
49. 49Fill a 5 by 5 square with 25 water bucketsDig 1 block down first. This makes the left pond bigger.
50. 50Pour 25 water buckets for the right pondDig 1 block down first in the front right corner. Fill around the right dock.
51. 51Fill an 8 by 3 rectangle with 24 water bucketsDig 1 block down first. This finishes the right pond.
52. 52Add 26 spruce leaves as bushes by the wallsPlace them from layer 1 to layer 5. They look like plants growing up the house.
53. 53Plant 23 short grass around the housePut them on layer 1 all over the yard to make it look wild and natural.
54. 54Place a stonecutter and a chest outsidePut them at the back of the house so they are easy to reach.
55. 55Hang 12 spruce signs and 2 spruce trapdoors on the frontThese go from layer 2 to layer 4. Signs on walls look like little shelves and trim.
56. 56Add 4 spruce buttons and 4 spruce signs on the right sideAlso place 2 spruce trapdoors and 1 oak pressure plate. Together they make a small table and seats.
57. 57Lay 4 white carpets and 4 blue carpets on topPut the blue carpets at the 4 corners of a 3 by 3 area. Add the white ones between them for a checkered look.
58. 58Hang 4 lanterns outside in the middlePlace them from layer 2 to layer 5 to light up the docks at night.
