Giant Spruce Tree Fort

Steps

1. 1Place 4 spruce logs in a 2 by 2 square in the middleThis is the bottom of the tree trunk. Put 1 ladder on the side of a log so you can climb up.
2. 2Fill a 4 by 8 area on the left with 28 spruce slabsThis floor goes on layer 5. Put each slab in the top half of the block.
3. 3Fill a 4 by 8 area on the right with 27 spruce slabsKeep it on layer 5 to match the left side. Put each slab in the top half of the block.
4. 4Stack 16 spruce logs in 4 columns, 4 blocks tallBuild from layer 2 to layer 5 in the middle. Add a column of 4 ladders so you can climb to the first floor.
5. 5Stack 12 spruce logs in 4 columns, 3 blocks tallThese go from layer 6 to layer 8. Add a column of 3 ladders to keep the climb going.
6. 6Add 8 spruce fences in 4 columns, 2 blocks tallThese are posts that hold up the next floor. Put 4 cobblestone walls on the 4 corners of a 6 by 6 area.
7. 7Lay 26 spruce slabs on the left for the next floorUse layer 9 inside a 5 by 10 area, with slabs in the top half. Add 2 spruce logs in a straight row.
8. 8Lay 25 spruce slabs on the right for the next floorStay on layer 9 inside a 5 by 10 area, slabs in the top half. Add 2 spruce logs in a row and 1 ladder.
9. 9Fill in 20 spruce planks around the floor edgeThese go on layer 9 inside an 8 by 8 area. They make the floor strong.
10. 10Place 4 cobblestone walls on the corners of a 6 by 6 areaThis is layer 10. Add 2 spruce logs in a row and 1 ladder to keep the trunk going up.
11. 11Put a row of 4 soul sand on the front sidePlace them on layer 10. Something special will grow on top of them later.
12. 12Stack 20 spruce logs in the 2 by 2 trunkBuild from layer 11 to layer 16. Add 2 spruce slabs in the top half along a 4 block line.
13. 13Add 8 spruce fences in 4 columns, 2 blocks tallPut them on layer 11 and layer 12 in the middle. They hold up the roof.
14. 14Place a column of 6 ladders on the front sideThey go from layer 11 to layer 16. This is how you climb up to the roof.
15. 15Plant 4 nether wart in a straight row on the frontPut them on layer 11, right on top of the row you placed on the front side.
16. 16Stack 46 spruce logs to make the tall trunkBuild from layer 17 to layer 30 inside a 2 by 2 area. This is the big part of the tree.
17. 17Add 9 more spruce logs near the top of the trunkThese go from layer 31 to layer 33 inside the same 2 by 2 area.
18. 18Place 8 obsidian in a flat wall 4 wide and 5 tallBuild it from layer 17 to layer 21 in the middle. Not every spot is filled, so count to 8.
19. 19Cover the roof with 33 spruce slabsPut them on layer 13 inside an 8 by 8 area. Each slab goes in the top half of the block.
20. 20Fill the roof edge with 20 spruce planksThese also go on layer 13 inside the 8 by 8 area.
21. 21Put 4 spruce fences on the corners of an 8 by 8 areaThis is from layer 14 to layer 20. Add 2 obsidian along a 4 block line and 1 ladder.
22. 22Add 4 spruce logs to finish the top of the trunkStack them on layer 33 and layer 34 inside a 2 by 2 area.
23. 23Put 2 red beds on the left side for the bedroomPlace them on layer 10. Each bed takes 2 blocks, so leave enough room.
24. 24Place a smithing table, an anvil, and a cartography tablePut them on layer 6 by the back wall. This is your tool corner.
25. 25Add a furnace, a crafting table, and more work blocksPut 1 furnace, 1 crafting table, 1 stonecutter, 1 blast furnace, and 1 smoker on layer 6. This is your kitchen and craft spot.
26. 26Place an enchanting table and a grindstone in the backThey go on layer 10 to layer 11 by the back side.
27. 27Put 12 chests in the middle for storagePlace them on layer 6 inside an 8 by 6 area. Put chests side by side to make big ones.
28. 28Add 2 chests and 1 ender chest on the upper floorPlace them on layer 10 along a 4 block line in the middle.
29. 29Line the walls with 24 spruce trapdoorsPlace them on layers 6 to 7. Add 1 potted azure bluet, 1 potted poppy, 1 potted lily of the valley, and 1 potted blue orchid.
30. 30Add 12 spruce trapdoors and 7 bookshelf blocks upstairsUse layer 10 to layer 11 inside an 8 by 8 area. Stack the bookshelf blocks over 2 layers in a 3 by 4 area.
31. 31Hang 8 lanterns around the first floorPut them on layer 8 inside an 8 by 8 area so the room is bright.
32. 32Hang 8 lanterns around the top floorPut them on layer 12 inside an 8 by 8 area. Light keeps mobs away.
33. 33Dig and fill 35 podzol on the left sideDig 1 block below the grass first. Fill a 5 by 11 area to make dark forest ground.
34. 34Dig and fill 35 podzol in the middleDig 1 block below the grass first. Fill a 4 by 12 area.
35. 35Dig and fill 34 podzol on the right sideDig 1 block below the grass first. Fill a 5 by 11 area to match the left.
36. 36Ring the base with 26 spruce slabsUse layer 1 to layer 2 inside a 12 by 12 area. Add 2 spruce fence gates in a row and 2 cobblestone walls along a 4 block line.
37. 37Add 26 spruce leaves and 2 oak leaves around the treeSpread them from layer 1 to layer 14 inside a 12 by 12 area. Put the oak leaves in a 2 by 2 area.
38. 38Start the treetop with 34 spruce leavesPlace them on layer 18 in the middle inside an 8 by 7 area.
39. 39Add 28 spruce leaves on the left sidePut them on layer 19 inside a 5 by 9 area.
40. 40Add 28 spruce leaves on the right sidePut them on layer 19 inside a 5 by 9 area to match the left.
41. 41Fill 35 spruce leaves in an 8 by 8 layerThis goes on layer 20 in the middle around the trunk.
42. 42Stack 40 spruce leaves 2 layers highPut 20 on each layer inside a 6 by 6 area. Use layer 21 and layer 22.
43. 43Add 40 spruce leaves in an 8 by 8 layerThis is layer 23. It sticks out wider like a real spruce tree.
44. 44Place 20 spruce leaves in a 6 by 6 layerThis is layer 24. It is smaller than the one below.
45. 45Add 48 spruce leaves over 2 layersUse layer 25 and layer 26 inside an 8 by 8 area.
46. 46Add 28 spruce leaves over 2 layersUse layer 27 and layer 28 inside a 6 by 6 area.
47. 47Finish the tip with 43 spruce leavesSpread them from layer 29 to layer 35 inside a 6 by 6 area. Make it thinner as you go up.
48. 48Pile 11 hay bales by the trunkStack them over 2 layers inside a 3 by 4 area. Plant 4 rose bush in 2 columns, each 2 blocks tall.
49. 49Place 28 farmland on the left side of the roofPut them on layer 14 inside a 4 by 8 area. This is your roof farm.
50. 50Place 27 farmland on the right side of the roofPut them on layer 14 inside a 4 by 8 area to match the left.
51. 51Plant 28 wheat seeds on the left sidePut them on layer 15 inside a 4 by 8 area. Put one seed on each block you just made.
52. 52Plant 27 wheat seeds on the right sidePut them on layer 15 inside a 4 by 8 area. Fill every spot so the farm looks full.
53. 53Add a barrel, a cauldron, and a brewing stand on the rightPlace them on layer 10 to layer 11. This is your potion spot.
54. 54Place 8 spruce trapdoors outside the first floorPut them on layer 6 inside a 10 by 10 area. They make a nice edge.
55. 55Put 28 spruce trapdoors around the upper floorPlace them on layer 10 inside a 12 by 12 area. They work like a little railing.
56. 56Stack 8 bookshelf blocks in 4 columns, 2 blocks tallPut them on layer 10 and layer 11 on the back side.
57. 57Add 24 spruce trapdoors around the roofPlace them on layer 14 inside a 10 by 10 area. They frame the farm.
58. 58Hang 2 lanterns at the frontPut them on layer 2 along a 4 block line so the way in is lit.
59. 59Put 4 lanterns on the corners of the roofPlace them on layer 15 at the 4 corners of an 8 by 8 area.
