Steps

1. 1Dig in 12 cherry log as the outline of a 5 by 5 squareDig one block down in the middle first. Leave 4 gaps in the outline. This is the bottom of the tree trunk.
2. 2Stack 36 cherry log in a 5 by 5 outline, 3 layers highBuild right on top of the logs you dug in. Keep the 4 gaps in the same spots on every layer.
3. 3Place 31 cherry slab at the back right corner for stairsPut 22 of the slabs in the top half of the block. These are the first steps that climb around the trunk.
4. 4Add 25 cherry slab and 7 cherry fence on the back sidePut 19 slabs in the top half of the block. The fences make a rail so you do not fall off the stairs.
5. 5Stack 24 cherry log 2 high and add 7 cherry fenceKeep the logs in a 5 by 5 outline with 4 gaps, right over the trunk below. Put the fences along the stair edge as a rail.
6. 6Place 25 cherry slab at the front left cornerPut 19 of the slabs in the top half of the block. The stairs keep turning as they go up.
7. 7Stack 24 cherry log 2 high and add 7 cherry fenceLine the logs up with the trunk below and keep the 4 gaps. The fences guard the stair edge.
8. 8Place 25 cherry slab at the front right cornerPut 19 of the slabs in the top half of the block. Make sure each step links to the one below.
9. 9Stack 24 cherry log 2 high and add 7 cherry fenceKeep the 5 by 5 outline with 4 gaps. Set the fences on the open sides of the stairs.
10. 10Build 44 cherry slab and 6 cherry fence on the back sidePut 35 of the slabs in the top half of the block. This is a long stretch of stairs and a landing.
11. 11Stack 36 cherry log in a 5 by 5 outline, 3 layers highKeep the 4 gaps lined up with the trunk below. The trunk keeps growing taller.
12. 12Stack 36 more cherry log in a 5 by 5 outline, 3 highThis goes from layer 13 to layer 15. Keep the same 4 gaps so the trunk looks neat.
13. 13Place 31 cherry slab at the front left cornerPut 22 of the slabs in the top half of the block. These steps lead to the top of the stairs.
14. 14Add 28 cherry slab and 12 cherry fence all aroundPut 25 of the slabs in the top half of the block. The fences make a rail around the last stairs.
15. 15Lay 12 cherry log in a 5 by 5 outline with 9 cherry planksFill the middle with the planks in a 3 by 3 square. This closes the top of the trunk.
16. 16Build 34 cherry log 3 high with 11 fence and 3 ladderPut the ladder in a column 3 blocks tall so you can climb up. The fences make a rail around the top.
17. 17Lay 44 cherry planks on the left side for the floorThis is the floor of the glass room. Put 1 ladder here so the climb keeps going.
18. 18Lay 44 cherry planks on the right side for the floorMatch it to the left side so the floor is even. Check for holes before you move on.
19. 19Add 36 pale oak slab around the edge and 12 cherry logPut all 36 slabs in the top half of the block. The logs go in a 5 by 5 outline with 4 gaps in the middle.
20. 20Stack 46 cherry log 4 high with 4 ladder in the middleThe trunk goes up through the room. Put the ladder in a column 4 blocks tall.
21. 21Build 8 columns of stripped pale oak log, 4 blocks tallThat is 32 logs in all. These posts hold up the walls of the room. Leave space between them for glass.
22. 22Lay 36 pale oak planks around the edge for the next floorSet them on top of the posts. This makes the edge of the second floor.
23. 23Place 12 cherry log, 11 cherry planks, and 1 ladderThe logs go in a 5 by 5 outline with 4 gaps. Keep the ladder on top of the one below it.
24. 24Stack 34 cherry log 3 high with 3 ladder in the middlePut the ladder in a column 3 blocks tall. The trunk keeps going up through the top room.
25. 25Build 8 stripped pale oak columns, 3 tall, plus a wart patchUse 24 logs for the posts. Put 5 soul sand in a row and plant 2 nether wart on it.
26. 26Stack 24 cherry log 2 high and add 8 stripped pale oak logKeep the logs in a 5 by 5 outline with 4 gaps. Add 2 ladder in a column to reach the top.
27. 27Fill in 28 glass between the posts on layer 21Put the glass in the open spots between the pale oak posts. This is the bottom row of the windows.
28. 28Add 28 glass on layer 22Stack it right on top of the glass below. Keep the posts showing between the windows.
29. 29Add 28 glass on layer 23Keep going up between the posts. The room gets lots of light this way.
30. 30Add 28 glass on layer 24This is the top row of windows for the first room. It reaches up to the next floor.
31. 31Fill in 28 glass between the posts on layer 26Now start the windows for the upper room. Put glass in every gap between the posts.
32. 32Add 28 glass on layer 27Stack it on top of the glass below. Check that no gaps are left.
33. 33Add 28 glass on layer 28Keep the glass lined up with the rows under it.
34. 34Add 28 glass on layer 29You are close to the top of the room now. Keep the posts showing.
35. 35Add 28 glass on layer 30This is the last row of windows. The leaves will sit right above it.
36. 36Place 4 cherry fence posts from layer 11 to layer 17Spread them out around the stairs. They help hold up the room above.
37. 37Lay 39 cherry planks on the back side of layer 25This fills in the back of the upper floor. Make sure it meets the pale oak planks at the edge.
38. 38Lay 38 cherry planks on the front side with 3 nether wartThis fills in the front of the upper floor. Put the nether wart in a straight row.
39. 39Add 8 cherry fence and 8 stripped pale oak log on layer 30These finish the top of the walls. Put the logs on top of the posts.
40. 40Place 12 cherry log and 1 ladder on layer 31The logs go in a 5 by 5 outline with 4 gaps. The ladder lets you climb up into the leaves.
41. 41Place 4 blast furnace, a crafting table, and a cartography tablePut the blast furnaces at the 4 corners of an 11 by 5 area. This is your work room.
42. 42Add 4 furnace, 2 smoker, and 1 fletching table at the backPut the furnaces at the 4 corners of an 11 by 3 area. The smokers cook food fast.
43. 43Set up a grindstone, anvil, smithing table, and stonecutterAdd the jukebox too so you can play music while you work. Each one is 1 block.
44. 44Put 2 brewing stand on the left side of layer 27Place them along a 5 block line inside the upper room. This is where you make potions.
45. 45Place 10 chest and 4 barrel in the work roomPut the barrels at the 4 corners of a 9 by 9 area. Chests keep all your stuff safe.
46. 46Add 22 barrel around the inside wallsSpread them over 3 layers, from layer 24 to layer 26. They give you lots of extra storage.
47. 47Place 2 beehive and 3 potted plants on the left sideUse the potted flowering azalea, potted poppy, and potted fern. The beehives sit along a 3 block line.
48. 48Add potted plants in the middle of layer 22Use the potted mangrove propagule, potted lily of the valley, and potted azure bluet. Set them on top of blocks.
49. 49Put potted plants and a cake on the front sideUse the potted oxeye daisy, potted cherry sapling, and potted pink tulip. The cake is a sweet snack.
50. 50Add 2 beehive and 2 potted plants in the upper roomUse a potted cherry sapling and a potted lily of the valley. Put the beehives along a 5 block line.
51. 51Hang 17 lantern along the stairs from layer 4 to layer 19Spread them out as you go up. They light the way so mobs do not spawn.
52. 52Place 10 lantern inside on layer 23 and layer 24Put them around the room near the walls. This keeps the first room bright.
53. 53Add 8 lantern in the middle of layer 29These light up the top room. Spread them out so there are no dark spots.
54. 54Dig in 3 dirt in a straight row on the right sideDig one block down first. Swap the grass for dirt to make a little path.
55. 55Place 51 cherry leaves around the top of the roomSpread them over layer 29 and layer 30. This is the bottom edge of the tree top.
56. 56Add 12 cherry leaves on the back sideFill in the back edge over 2 layers. It helps the tree top look round.
57. 57Lay 46 cherry leaves on the left side of layer 31Fill the area 5 by 16. This starts the big flat part of the tree top.
58. 58Lay 46 more cherry leaves on the left side of layer 31Fill the area 3 by 18. Line it up next to the leaves you just placed.
59. 59Lay 46 cherry leaves in the middle of layer 31Fill a 4 by 19 area. Leave room for the ladder hole in the trunk.
60. 60Lay 46 more cherry leaves in the middle of layer 31Fill another 4 by 19 area next to the last one. The middle is the widest part.
61. 61Lay 46 cherry leaves on the right side of layer 31Fill a 4 by 18 area. The edge gets a little shorter as you go right.
62. 62Lay 41 cherry leaves on the right side of layer 31Fill a 4 by 14 area. This finishes the round shape of this layer.
63. 63Place 48 cherry leaves on the left side of layer 32Fill a 9 by 17 area. Each layer up gets a bit smaller.
64. 64Place 47 cherry leaves on the right side of layer 32Fill a 9 by 17 area. Make it match the left side.
65. 65Add 37 cherry leaves on the back side of layer 33Fill a 13 by 6 area. The tree top keeps getting narrow like a dome.
66. 66Add 36 cherry leaves on the front side of layer 33Fill a 13 by 8 area. Join it to the back half.
67. 67Place 53 cherry leaves in an 11 by 11 area on layer 34Keep it in the middle. This makes the top of the dome round.
68. 68Top it off with 44 cherry leaves in a 9 by 9 areaThis is the very top of the tree. Center it over the layer below.
69. 69Place 8 chest, 1 pink bed, and 1 enchanting tableThe bed takes 2 blocks, so leave room. This is your bedroom and magic corner.
70. 70Add 5 barrel, 2 cauldron, an ender chest, and a brewing standPut the cauldrons along a 3 block line. The ender chest keeps your best items safe.
71. 71Place 24 chest in the outline of a 9 by 9 squareLeave 8 gaps in the outline. This is a hidden storage room up in the leaves.
72. 72Stack 12 chest on layer 33Put them inside the 9 by 9 area. Now you have even more storage.
73. 73Add 8 bookshelf and 3 pink carpet on layer 26The bookshelves help your enchanting table. Lay the carpet in a straight row.
74. 74Place 7 bookshelf, 5 spruce trapdoor, and some treasuresAdd the large amethyst bud, dragon head, and dragon egg as fun prizes. Put the trapdoors in a straight row.
75. 75Add 2 amethyst cluster and 2 large amethyst bud at the backSet them on layer 28 inside a 2 by 4 area. They make a sparkly corner.
76. 76Lay 40 pink carpet in a 7 by 7 area on layer 32This makes a soft floor in the storage room. Fill it in around the chests.
77. 77Hang 4 lantern from layer 18 to layer 27Spread them out on the outside of the build. They light up the stairs and walls.
78. 78Hang 10 lantern and 3 iron chain on layer 28Put them under the edge of the leaves. The chains hold the lanterns so they dangle.
79. 79Add 11 iron chain and 5 lantern on layer 29Hang them from the leaves all around. They glow like little fruit on the tree.
80. 80Finish with 16 iron chain on layer 30Put them under the leaves all around the edge. They connect the lanterns to the tree top.
