Steps
1
Dig and place 25 cobblestone in the back left corner
Dig one block down into the grass first. Spread the 25 blocks inside a 5 by 10 area to start the base.
2
Dig and place 25 cobblestone in the front left corner
Dig one block down again. Keep the blocks inside a 5 by 10 area so this part lines up with the back left part.
3
Dig and place 25 cobblestone in the back right corner
Go one block below the grass. Fill in the blocks inside a 5 by 10 area for the right side of the base.
4
Dig and place 25 cobblestone in the front right corner
This is the last part of the base. Keep the 25 blocks inside a 5 by 10 area, one block below the grass.
5
Place 31 stone brick wall on the left side
This is layer 1, right on top of the grass. Keep them inside a 5 by 21 area to make the low stall walls.
6
Place 31 stone brick wall on the right side
Do the same as the left side. Keep them inside a 5 by 21 area so both sides match.
7
Add 30 spruce fence gates and 12 stone bricks all around
The gates are the stall doors so animals can go in and out. The stone bricks make strong spots between the gates.
8
Put 27 spruce fence on the left side of layer 2
Add the 2 spruce fence gates and 2 stone brick wall. They go along a 7 block line. This keeps the stalls closed in.
9
Put 27 spruce fence on the right side of layer 2
Add the 2 spruce fence gates and 2 stone brick wall. They go along a 7 block line. Make it match the left side.
10
Add 32 spruce stairs and 12 stripped spruce logs all around
These go from layer 2 to layer 4. All 32 stairs are upside down to make arches between the log posts.
11
Stack 24 stripped spruce logs 2 high for the posts
Put 12 logs on layer 3, then 12 more on layer 4 right on top. These tall posts hold up the roof.
12
Lay 37 stripped spruce logs across the back on layer 5
Add 2 stone brick stairs and 2 spruce stairs too. All 4 stairs are upside down to trim the edge.
13
Lay 41 stripped spruce logs across the middle on layer 5
Keep them inside a 15 by 7 area. These beams join the back and front of the barn.
14
Lay 36 stripped spruce logs across the front on layer 5
Add 2 spruce stairs and 2 stone brick stairs. All 4 stairs are upside down, just like the back.
15
Fill in 45 spruce planks on the left side of layer 5
They go in a 3 by 17 area. This makes the loft floor over the stalls.
16
Fill in 45 spruce planks on the right side of layer 5
Match the left side with a 3 by 17 area. Now the loft floor is done on both sides.
17
Place 12 oak planks and 2 oak fence in the middle of layer 6
Keep the planks inside a 9 by 19 area. The 2 oak fence go along a 19 block line.
18
Add 8 stone brick stairs and 4 stripped spruce logs on layer 6
The logs go on the 4 corners of a 5 by 19 area. 4 of the stairs are upside down.
19
Build a 5 by 19 outline of 38 spruce planks on layer 7
Leave 6 gaps in the outline. Count the blocks as you go so the shape stays even.
20
Add 4 oak planks, 4 stone bricks and 2 oak fence on layer 7
Oak planks go on the 4 corners of a 3 by 19 area. Stone bricks go on the 4 corners of a 5 by 21 area.
21
Top the walls with 6 stone brick stairs, 4 oak planks, 2 oak stairs
These go on layer 8 and layer 9. All 8 stairs are upside down to shape the top of the walls.
22
Lay a 2 by 19 strip of 38 spruce planks on the left
This is layer 6. It is the bottom of the roof, so fill the whole strip with no holes.
23
Lay a 2 by 19 strip of 38 spruce planks on the right
Match the left side on layer 6. Fill the whole strip so the roof has no holes.
24
Put 27 stone brick slabs on the left roof edge
Keep them inside a 4 by 21 area on layer 6. 4 slabs go in the top half of the block.
25
Put 27 stone brick slabs on the right roof edge
Keep them inside a 4 by 21 area on layer 6. Again, 4 slabs go in the top half of the block.
26
Lay 38 spruce slabs all around on layer 6
Keep them inside a 15 by 19 area. They make the low roof edge over the stalls.
27
Fill a 2 by 19 strip of 38 spruce slabs on the left
This is layer 7. Fill the strip all the way so the roof keeps going up.
28
Add a 2 by 19 strip of 38 spruce slabs in the middle
This is layer 7 too. Add the 8 stone brick slabs inside a 9 by 21 area for the stone trim.
29
Build a 5 by 19 outline of 38 spruce stairs on layer 8
Leave 6 gaps. Face the stairs so they step up to the middle. Put 4 stone brick stairs on the corners of a 5 by 21 area.
30
Build a 3 by 19 outline of 38 spruce stairs on layer 9
Leave 2 gaps. Face them up toward the middle so the roof gets close to the top.
31
Cap the roof with a row of 21 stone brick slabs
This goes on layer 9 to layer 10 along the very top. Put 4 stone brick stairs on the corners of a 3 by 21 area.
32
Place 32 spruce trapdoors and 6 barrels inside
These go from layer 3 to layer 5 around the inside. The barrels are spots to store food for your animals.
33
Add 20 spruce trapdoors inside on layer 4
Put them around the inside of the walls. They add nice wood detail to the stalls.
34
Hang 6 spruce hanging signs and 6 spruce trapdoors
These go in the middle on layer 4 to layer 5. Use the signs to name each stall for your animals.
35
Place 8 lanterns in the middle on layer 3
Spread them out inside a 7 by 21 area. Light keeps mobs from showing up in your barn.
36
Hang 10 lanterns up high inside
Put them from layer 4 to layer 6 inside a 15 by 13 area. They light up the whole barn at night.
37
Dig and lay 48 dirt path at the back
Dig one block down into the grass. Keep the path inside a 5 by 10 area so you can walk into the barn.
38
Dig and lay 47 dirt path at the front
Dig one block down here too. Keep it inside a 5 by 10 area to make a nice walkway to the front door.
39
Stack 29 hay bales in the loft on layer 6
Keep them inside a 9 by 17 area in the middle. Hay is great food for horses and llamas.
