Questions
Do survival addons turn off achievements?
Yes. Any behavior pack, and any experiment, turns off achievements for that world. Resource packs on their own keep them on.
How do I install Minecraft Bedrock addons?
On Windows, Android, iPhone and iPad, tap Download on the addon page. The .mcaddon or .mcpack file opens Minecraft and imports itself. Then create or edit a world, open Behavior Packs and Resource Packs, and activate the addon. If the addon page says it needs experiments, turn those on in the world's settings too.
Are Bedrock addons the same as mods?
Addons are how Minecraft Bedrock Edition does mods. Java Edition mods need a loader such as Forge or Fabric and do not run on Bedrock. Bedrock addons are behavior packs and resource packs that add or change mobs, items, blocks and gameplay, with no loader to install. Players often call them Bedrock mods or MCPE mods, and they mean the same thing.
Do addons work on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch?
Consoles cannot reliably import addon files. Add the addon to a world on Windows, Android or iOS, then upload that world to a Realm or host it from that device, and join from your console. Everyone who joins gets the packs automatically.
Are these addons free and safe?
Yes. Every addon here is free. Each file is scanned and reviewed by BedrockBuddy before it goes live, downloads come straight from BedrockBuddy with no ad link sites in between, and every page has a report button.
Which Minecraft versions do these addons work on?
Each addon page lists the Bedrock versions it was made for. Keep Minecraft up to date and download the newest version of the addon when its creator posts an update.
